Turkey Chili

Ingredients

oz ground turkey, thawed

cup chopped onion
1/2
cup chopped green pepper (optional)

clove garlic, minced
1
can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1
cup water
3
medium tomatoes, peeled and chopped (or a can of chopped tomatoes)
1
can (6 oz) of tomato paste
1
tsp chili powder
1/2
tsp dried oregano
1/2
tsp cumin
1/8
tsp cayenne pepper
Directions
1.
Cook turkey in large heavy pot until no longer pink.
2.
Add onion, garlic, pepper. Cook 2 minutes
3.
Add remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer for 1 ½ hours. Stirring occasionally.
