Aunt Gail's Pepperoni Bread

Ingredients
1
lb frozen or day-old pizza dough
1/4
lb sandwich pepperoni, sliced
8
oz shredded mozzarella
1
egg, beaten
Directions
1.
Roll dough to about 1/4-inch thickness.
2.
Lay out pepperoni side-by-side.
3.
Place mozzarella on top.
4.
Roll up like a jelly roll and press ends together to seal.
5.
Place a damp cloth over the bread and let rise for 15 minutes to several hours.
6.
Brush top with beaten egg.
7.
Bake in oven at 400 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown.
8.
Let stand 15 minutes before slicing.
