Chicken Noodle Casserole

Ingredients

cup celery, thinly sliced
1/2
cup onion, thinly sliced
1
lb skinless, boneless chicken breasts
1
lb wide egg noodles
2
cans (10 3/4 oz) cream of chicken soup
1
cup sour cream
1/2
cup whole milk
Salt
Pepper
Garlic Powder
Paprika
3
tbsp butter, divided

cup bread crumbs
Directions
1.
Preheat grill to medium-high; preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2.
Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Grill on medium-high for 12 minutes or until done. Cool slightly. Shred.
3.
Cook egg noodles according to package directions.
4.
Meanwhile, saute celery and onion in 1 tablespoon butter until softened, about 5 minutes.
5.
In a large bowl, combine sauteed vegetables, soup, sour cream, milk, and spices.
6.
Add shredded chicken and prepared egg noodles; stir to combine.
7.
Pour mixture into a 2-quart casserole dish.
8.
In a small bowl, mix 2 tablespoons melted butter with bread crumbs. Sprinkle crumb mixture on top of casserole.
9.
Bake uncovered for 35 to 40 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
