Banana And Almond Milk Smoothie

This smoothie is completely raw and contains no traces of dairy.

Ingredients

cups Almond milk (see recipe below)

large ripe bananas
1
tbsp raw organic honey
1-2
tbsp Chai spice if wanted, recipe:

tbsp ground ginger
1
tbsp ground cinnamon
2
tsp ground cloves
2 1/2
tbsp ground cardamom
2
tsp nutmeg
2
tsp all spice
1
/2 tsp. white pepper
Directions

Almond Milk:

Place 1 1/2 cups of almonds into the blender and fill up to 4 inches above the almond line with water.
3.
Once the almonds are blended smoothly and take on the look of milk, sift the almond milk to remove the chunks of almond paste .

Place 1 1/2 cups of almond milk into the blender and add the bananas and honey (also chai mix if you decide).

Chai spice mix alternative:

Mix all spices together and add 1-2 tbsp. (to taste) to the smoothie.
