Baked Chocolate Cake Doughnuts

cup unbleached all-purpose flour

cup sugar

cup cocoa powder

tsp baking soda

tsp salt

tsp vanilla extract

large egg

tbsp sour cream
1/4
cup milk
1/4
cup canola oil
1 1/2
cups confectioner's sugar
Glaze:
1/4
cup milk
1
tsp vanilla extract
Directions

Preheat oven to 375°. I'm a medium bowl, combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, and baking soda. In a small bowl, beat together the milk, oil, sour cream, egg, and vanilla. Stir wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined. Fill the wells of a greased donut pan about 2/3 full. Bake for 8 minutes or until the tops spring back when touched and a toothpick inserted in one comes out clean. Remove from pan to a wire rack to cool completely. Whisk together the confectioner's sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth. Dunk the donuts in the glaze to fully coat and place on a wire rack to set.
