Granny's Brown Bread

We always thought that this bread was really healthy because it was brown - turns out the brown comes from the molasses!

Ingredients
1/2
tsp yeast
1
cup warm water
1
/8c. molasses
pinch of salt
1
/8c. butter
2
cups flour (any type
1
/8c. sugar
Directions
1.
Add that water, molasses, sugar, salt and butter.
2.
Add enough flour to make a sponge and beat thoroughly.
3.
Add remainder of flour and use the dough hook to mix until gluten forms.
4.
Cover with plastic wrap and place on a heating pad to rise until doubled in size.
5.
Knead and shape into loaves. Put into loaf pans.
6.
Let proof again until doubled in height.
7.
Bake for 30 min in a 350 oven.
