Stuffed Manicotti

Ingredients

(8 oz) package manicotti, uncooked
1 1/2
lb ground beef, divided
1/2
cup chopped onion
1
clove garlic, minced
1
(16 oz) container ricotta cheese
1
egg, beaten
2
cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1
tsp dried parsley flakes
1/2
tsp salt
grated parmesan
1
spaghetti sauce
Directions
1.
Prepare manicotti according to package.
2.
In large skillet combine 3/4 lb ground beef, onion, and garlic. Cook until beef is brown, drain.
3.
In medium skillet cook the rest of the ground beef, drain.
4.
In medium bowl blend ricotta and egg. Stir in cooked beef, mozzarella, parsley, and salt.
5.
Pour half of tomato sauce in bottom of 9x13 pan.
6.
Fill manicotti evenly with ricotta.
7.
Place stuffed manicotti in bottom of dish, spoon remaining sauce evenly over manicotti. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
8.
Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
9.
Save extra sauce to put on table.
