Ingredients
1
(3.5 oz) pepperoni; slices
1/2
lb lean ground beef
1
medium onion, chopped
1
garlic clove, minced
1
(6 oz) italian style tomato paste
1/4
cup dry red wine or water
1/2
tsp salt
1/4
tsp pepper
1/2
cup grated parmesan
1/2
cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1
large egg
1/2
cup milk
2
(10 oz) each) refrigerated pizza crust
Directions
1.
Cut pepperoni slices in half, set aside.
2.
Cook beef, onions, and garlic; drain.
3.
Stir in tomato paste, wine, salt, and pepper until thick.
4.
Stir in pepperoni and cheese.
5.
Combine egg and milk; set aside.
6.
Unroll pizza crust, cut into 4 squares.
7.
Spoon 1/3 cup of beef mixture into each square leaving a 1 inch border.
8.
Brush border with egg mixture and fold in half diagonally and press edges together.
9.
Place on greased cookie sheet, brush top with egg mixture.
10.
Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
