Strawberry Blueberry Jalapeño Lemonade

The jalapeños in this lemonade adds a surprising little kick!

Ingredients
6-8
Lemons, cut in half
1
pt Fresh Blueberries, washed
1
carton Fresh Strawberries, washed and tops cut off
1
small Jalapeño, washed and thinly sliced
1
gal Cold Water
The amounts of sugar can be adjusted to your preference.
The amounts of jalapeño can be adjusted to your preference.
Directions
1.
In a medium bowl with a strainer, squeeze lemons. Reserve 1/2 of a lemon to thinly slice as garnish and set aside.
2.
Pour freshly squeezed lemon juice in desired pitcher and set aside
3.
Reserve 6 whole strawberries to slice as garnish. In the same bowl, mash strawberries into a puree, and then pass through a strainer. Add to pitcher with lemon juice. Mash 1/4 of the blueberries through the strainer and add to the pitcher.

Add cold water and sugar adjusting to your desired preference.
5.
Add 4 slices of jalapeños, and stir until the sugar is dissolved. Let stand for 5 minutes. Remove the jalapeño slices after 5 minutes.
6.
In a glass, add sliced strawberries, a few blueberries, 2 sliced of jalapeños, 1 slice of lemon, and ice. Pour lemonade over garnish and enjoy.
