Warm Bran Muffins

This batter keeps well in the refrigerator for up to a month, so you can make fresh muffins every day.

cups bran cereal

cups bran flakes

cup unsweetened applesauce

cups hot water

cups whole wheat flour

cup canola oil

qt buttermilk

tbsp baking soda

tbsp ground ginger

tbsp ground cinnamon

tsp ground nutmeg
Directions
1.
Preheat oven to 350F. Lightly spray or wipe muffin tins with vegetable oil. Place all the ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Stir well until blended. Do not over mix. Fill tins half full. Bake 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
