Onion Soup

Ingredients
4
large onions (about 4 cups)
3-4
tb butter
2
tbsp sugar
1
tbsp four
2
cans chicken broth
2
cups water
1
tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2
cup white wine
french bread, sliced thick and toasted well
sliced swiss cheese
parmesan cheese
Directions
1.
Saute onions in butter with sugar for about 10 minutes or until golden brown. Add flour and blend well. Add water, broth, wine and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer for 15-20 minutes.
2.
Place bread slices in individual soup crocks. Add hot soup and top with slice of Swiss cheese and sprinkle with a little Parmesan cheese.
3.
Put under broiler until cheese melts.
