Chili Relleno Casserole

Ingredients
1
can (7 oz) whole green chilies
2
cups Monterrey jack cheese
salt & pepper
2
eggs
1
cup milk
optional: sliced ham
Directions
1.
Slit chilies down one side, remove seeds.
2.
Fill with half cheese cut in strips (reserve some cheese for topping). If you using ham, wrap a slice around each strip of cheese and fill chili.
3.
Roll chilies up around filling.
4.
Place in 9x5 baking dish.
5.
Grate remaining cheese. Beat eggs, milk ans salt and pepper. Pour over chilies and sprinkle with grated cheese.
6.
Bake at 375 for 45 minutes or until set.
