Pepper Steak

Ingredients

lb very thin beef strips, chuck steak
2-3
tb olive oil
2
cloves garlic, minced
2
tbsp soy sauce
1/2
tsp salt
1 1/4
cups water
1 1/2
cups green peppers, sliced
1
cup onions, sliced
1
tbsp cornstarch
Directions
1.
Brown beef in hot oil, add garlic and cook for another minute.
2.
Add soy sauce, salt and 1/4 cup of the water. Add peppers and onions and simmer for about 15 minutes. Stir cornstarch into remaining 1 cup water and stir into beef.
3.
Cook until slightly thickened. Serve over rice.
