Sauerkraut

Ingredients

large can sauerkraut
1
large potato, grated
2
tbsp flour
2
tbsp margarine
sugar to taste
Directions
1.
In saucepan combine sauerkraut, 1 1/2 cans of water and sugar. Add grated potato and simmer for about 1 hour.

In a dry skillet place flour and lightly brown over medium heat. Add margarine to

flour and stir. Add 1/3 cup water and stir to make a paste.
4.
Add this to sauerkraut and combine well. Simmer for about 10 minutes.
5.
Optional: Can add cut up raw potatoes while cooking. Also can add kielbasa.
