Pal Khova

Its a Hindu festival special recipe.On the day of Janmashtami,The Birthday of Lord Krishna,also called Gokulashtami,people make many sweet recipes.One of them are Pal Khova (Krishna's favorite).

Ingredients

liter milk :
ghee : 2 tablespoonses
sugar : 2 cups (depending on your taste)

tsp cardamom powder :
Directions
1.
Take a non-stick pan and pour the milk.
2.
Heat the milk until it boils.
3.
Keep the flame to ‘medium’ and simmer it once the milk starts boiling.
4.
Simmer it for the next 90 minutes and stir thoroughly for every 15 minutes.
5.
Once the milk becomes thicker and sticky, add cardamom powder and sugar and stir for 5 minutes.
6.
Now you can see the color change in milk.
7.
As soon as the milk starts to solidify, add ghee and stir continuously for some time.
8.
Now turn off the flame and allow it to cool.
9.
You can garnish with raisins or cashews if you like.
