Turkey Curry

Ingredients

cup butter
1/4
cup finely minced onion
1
small clove garlic, mashed, or 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
1
eating apple, peeled, cored, and finely chopped
1/4
cup flour
1
teaspoon, or more, curry powder
2
cups milk
Salt and pepper to taste
2 1/2
cups turkey cut in large pieces
Directions
1.
Melt butter in a heavy saucepan. Add onion, mashed garlic and apple.

Cook and stir until onion is yellow. Blend in flour and curry powder.
3.
Add milk stirring constantly until sauce is smooth and thickened. Season to taste.
4.
Add turkey and heat thoroughly. Serve over hot, cooked rice.
