Spicy Tuna Potato Cakes (Chop)

A bengali favorite. These chops are amazing. Once you have one, you'll want another. Yummy fried goodness.

Ingredients

boiled potatoes

cans tuna

tbsp garlic paste

tbsp ginger paste

cup diced onions

green chili peppers diced
1/4
cup fresh coriander leaves
1
tsp cumin
1/2
tsp tsp chili powder
1/2
tsp coriander powder
1 1/2
salt
1
egg
bread crumbs
Directions
1.
Mash the potatoes in mixing bowl.
2.
Drain the tuna from the cans and put in bowl.
3.
Add in onions, peppers & seasoning. Mix.
4.
Depending on the texture of the mixture, you can add the egg directly in or dip the circle patties in the egg before breading. The mixture should hold its shape when formed into circular/oval patties. (1 inch thick flat).

Heat oil in the meantime while forming patties. Use enough to cover tuna cakes to fry,

Place the tuna cakes in the oil after it has reached boiling temperatures indicated by bubbles. If it is not hot enough, the patties will fall apart in the oil. Fry and enjoy.
