Stromboli

Big debate who gave me this recipe I saw it was Nana, but she doesn't remember it, so it might be Aunt Marlene (Pappy's brother Jimmy's wife) or maybe Susan Chelbowski -it is a mystery of faith Amen (smile) None the less it is a tried and true recipe

Ingredients
Crust

cups flour

package dry yeast

Tab sugar

Tab oil

tsp salt
1/2
cup h20
1/2
cup milk
1
egg
Filling:
1/4
lb baked ham
1/4
lb hot pepper cheese
1/4
lb pepperoni
1/4
lb provolone cheese
1/4
cup green peppers and onions
Directions
1.
Heat milk, water and oil until warm
2.
Mix well add to warm mixture 1 1/4 cup flour, dry yeast, sugar, salt and egg

Stir and add rest of flour (i mix everything at once)

Turn out on floured board
5.
Knead 5 minutes (I use the big stand mixer, ain't nobody got time for that ((joke from 2014))

Put in warm greased bowl

Cover

Let stand 1 hour
9.
Roll out into a 8/15 rectangle (makes 2)
10.
Put filling in the middle and jelly roll into log
11.
Bake 350 30 minutes
