Fresh Rhubarb Pie

Dad decided to grow Rhubarb the summer of 2018 So one hot day in July, I baked this and it turned out amazing I used my dad's secret pie crust recipe (shh don't tell it's a Top Secret Tata J Baron original) Uncle Ed used to grow this in his garden at Reservoir Street in Mount Pleasant and Aunt VA would make and sell pies (Nana's sister) Nana makes good strawberry rhubarb pie and it is one of your dad's favorites. Ingredients
4
cups chopped rhubarb
1 1/3
cups white sugar
6
tbsp all purpose flour
1
tbsp butter
Pie Crust (see Top Secret Tata recipe)
Directions
1.
Preheat 450
2.
Combine sugar and flour
3.
Sprinkle sugar and flour mixture (about 1/4 of total) on pie crust bottom
4.
Add Chopped rhubarb
5.
Add rest of sugar mix
6.
Put 1 T cold butter pieces of top
7.
Cover with Top Crust
8.
Bake 450 15 M Reduce 350 for 45 minutes

TIP: Fresh rhubarb is more green than red, so add a few 2-3 red food coloring drops
