Julia Child's Perfect Pie Crust

Ingredients
1 1/3
cups flour
1 1/4
sticks butter
2
tbsp shortening (butter flavor is the best)
1
tsp salt
1/3
cup water
Directions
1.
Cut butter into small pieces. Use pastry cutter to blend flour/salt and butter. Cut in shortening. You want pea size balls or bigger. Add water little by little, and press dough together using bowl scraper tool. Divide in half and wrap in saran wrap. Let chill in fridge. When ready to make, roll out on floured surface and place in pie pan. Makes 2 single or 1 double crust
