Chile Con Carne

Ingredients

lb dry kidney beans

small onion
1
clove garlic
1
tsp oil
1/2
lb chop meat
1
can (8 oz) whole tomatoes and fresh tomatoes
1
tbsp chili powder
1/2
sugar, salt
Directions
1.
Soak beans in 4 cups of water overnight, drain
2.
Cook beans in 4 cups of water on medium heat until tender, add more hot water if necessary
3.
Drain beans, reserving liquid.
4.
Saute onion and garlic in oil, add meat browning lightly.
5.
Add beans and all of ingredients
6.
Simmer for 15 minutes, add bean liquid and salt as needed
