Trim excess fat off of roast and dry. Combine all the seasonings in a small bowl and rub evenly over roast.

Add liquid smoke to water and pour into the bottom of a 6-quart slow cooker. Place meat in slow cooker, top with a tight lid and cook on LOW for 6-10 hours or HIGH for 6-8 hours or until pork is very tender.

When fully cooked and tender, remove pork from slow cooker and place on large cutting board or platter and let rest for 10-15 minutes.

Once cool enough to handle, begin to pull pork apart, shredding meat as you go.

Add your favorite barbeque sauce to the pulled pork, and serve on warm buns topped with coleslaw.
