Chili With Meat And Beans.

Great for a cold winter day! This is basically my mom's chili recipe, with a couple changes; ground Italian sausage, the different beans to give it color and the diced tomatoes.

Ingredients
1
lb ground beef.
1
lb ground Italian sausage (mild or sweet).
1
medium onion chopped.
1
large can Campbell’s Tomato soup + 1 large can water.
1
reg can Campbell’s Tomato soup + 1 reg can water.
1
can diced tomatoes with basil and garlic.
4
can chili beans. I use 3 cans of Bush's Best Mild Chili beans (not drained), and 1 can black beans, drained.

tbsp chili powder.

tbsp Cumin.
1
tsp garlic powder.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Directions
1.
Brown ground beef, drain, add meat to pot.

Brown Italian sausage, drain, add meat to pot.
3.
Saute onion until almost tender, add to meat pot.
4.
Add the rest of the ingredients, stir well and simmer for at least an hour. Add more spices as needed. Flavors blend even better the next day. Makes an 8-quart pot full.
