cup butter

cup sugar

cup self rising flour

cup milk

can fruit
1/2
cup sugar for sprinkling on top
Directions

Melt butter in deep baking dish, beat together the sugar, flour, and milk until smooth. Pour batter over butter, blend well. Empty fruit into batter, sprinkle sugar over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Batter will rise to the top of the dish.
