Hungry Kids Cake

This cake is a yummy and easy staple to keep on hand at all times. Eat it warm with ice cream, or pack it away in the lunch box. Of course it’s not just for the kids - Parents enjoy it too!

Ingredients

gr butter

apple peeled and grated
1/4
cup sugar
1/4
tsp cinnamon
1
tbsp oil
1/2
cup flour
1
egg
1/4
tsp baking soda
25
gr butter
2
tbsp brown sugar
1/4
cup rolled oats
1/2
tsp cinnamon
Directions
1.
Preheat oven to 190 degrees
2.
Melt 15g butter, add oil, apple and stir
3.
Stir in egg, sugar, cinnamon, baking soda, flour (sifted) and mix well
4.
Pour into greased cake tin
5.
Add the rest of the butter (melted) plus brown sugar rolled oats and cinnamon combine
6.
Spread evenly over the uncooked batter
7.
Bake for approx. 20 mins.
8.
Remember to test it!
