Blistered Shishito Peppers With Lemon Goat Cheese Dip

These Japanese peppers are NOT spicy and they are pretty darn good on their own. But then you make up some of the whipped lemon infused goat cheese while the Shishito Peppers are blistering away on the barbecue and…BAM! We have a winner and I think you’ll agree….in less than 10 minutes, the perfect appetizer or snack.

Ingredients
1
package of shishito peppers
1
tbsp sesame oil
4
oz goat cheese
1
tbsp lemon juice
lemon zest of one lemon
5/2
tbsp of milk
Directions
1.
For the Shishito peppers: simply toss with sesame oil and sea salt to taste, then grill for 5 minutes on high (turning at least once for even cooking).
2.
For the dip: Blend all ingredients in food processor and transfer to a bowl to serve-enjoy the Shishito peppers dipped in the creamy goat cheese!
