Sloppy Joes

The classic All-American kid food. If you're feeling adventurous, try substituting ground turkey for the beef! I can't claim to have tested that variation, but it sounds promising.

Ingredients

lb lean ground beef

cup chopped celery

small onion, chopped
1/2
cup chopped carrots (optional)

o.z. can tomato sauce
1/2
cup ketchup
1
tbsp brown sugar
1
tsp mustard
1
tbsp worcestershire sauce
1
tbsp vinegar
salt & pepper to taste
Directions
1.
Brown ground beef, onion, and carrots (if using). Add remaining ingredients and simmer until the sauce thickens. Serve on hamburger buns.
