Preheat oven to 375. Clean mushrooms; remove stems and coarsely chop (the stems).

In a large skillet, cook diced bacon over medium heat until almost crisp. Stir in green onions, red pepper, garlic and reserved mushroom stems.

Cook until tender; drain. Stir in salt and pepper.

Transfer to a small bowl to cool slightly. Stir in cream cheese and cheddar cheese until combined.

Spoon bacon mixture into mushroom caps; place caps in a lightly oiled baking dish.

In another small bowl combine bread crumbs and olive oil; sprinkle over mushrooms. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until mushrooms are tender and bread crumbs are golden.
