Fish Pulao Take Ii

Another method for making fish pulao.

Ingredients

cups rice
500
gr fish
2
large onions sliced
2
tomatoes chopped
2
green chillies chopped
1
tbsp fresh coriander chopped
4
bay leaves
1
tbsp garam masala
1/2
tsp black pepper
1/2
tsp turmeric powder
Directions
1.
Smear turmeric and salt on fish and keep aside for 15 mins, then fry.
2.
Wash and drain rice and fry for 5 mins. Fry onion along with garam masala and black pepper.
3.
When the onions are golden brown add turmeric and salt.
4.
Add tomatoes and 1/2 cup water. Add the fish, cover and simmer till tomatoes are soft and water has evaporated.
5.
Add chillies and coriander.
6.
In a pressure cooker, layer rice, fish and bay leaves. Add 4 cups of water, cover and cook to one whistle.
7.
Open after 10 mins and serve hot.
