Quick Pizza Crust

In the new house, Mondays was make-your-own pizza night. But it was a new (ie. powerful) oven, so it turned into burn-your-own-pizza night. Then the dogs got into the pitas and I had to improvise...

Prep
Cook
Serves 2people
Ingredients
2
package instant dry yeast
2
tsp white sugar
2
cup warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)
5
cups bread flour
4
tbsp olive oil
2
tsp salt (no skimping on the salt! That makes it bland!)
half a big jar of your favorite spaghetti sauce
shredded cheese
toppings (valkyrie loves pepperoni, kristine loves mushrooms and spinach, chris loves ham and pineapple and griffin loves pizza!)
Directions
1.
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C). Put pizza stone into the oven. (you don't have to use a pizza stone, but you also don't HAVE to have a crispy crust that the pizza stone does...)
2.
In a bowl, put in the oil, water, salt, flour and yeast.
3.
Beat until with a dough hook until smooth (when you can form gluten windows).
4.
Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface and pat or roll into a round. Cut it into two.
5.
Shape into 2 large (or 8 small) pizza shells.
6.
Transfer crust to a lightly greased pizza pan or baker's peel dusted with cornmeal or a sheet of parchment paper. Spread with desired toppings.
7.
Bake in preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
8.
Let baked pizza cool for 5 minutes before serving.
