Popovers With Sweet Mascarpone And Chocolate Sauce

In class campers created popovers which they then filled with Mascarpone and drizzled chocolate sauce on top.

Ingredients

eggs

cup all-purpose flour
1
cup milk
Directions
1.
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C). Grease and flour six 6 ounce custard cups.
2.
In a medium bowl beat eggs slightly.
3.
Beat in flour, milk and salt until just smooth; being careful not to over beat.
4.
Fill custard cups 1/2 full.
5.
Bake at 450 degrees F (230 degrees C) for 20 minutes.
6.
Decrease oven temperature to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and bake for 20 minutes more.
7.
Immediately remove from cups and serve piping hot.
8.
*** Fill with sweet mascarpone cheese and dip in chocolate sauce.
