Chocolate Cheese Cupcakes

This is a delicious and decadent milchig recipe, great for Chanuka and Shavuos.

Ingredients

(8 oz) package of cream cheese, softened

egg, slightly beaten
1
+ 1/3 c sugar
1
pinch salt
6
oz chocolate chips
1 1/2
cups flour
1/4
cup cocoa
1
tsp baking soda
1/2
tsp salt
1
cup water
1/2
cup oil
Directions
1.
Preheat oven to 350.
2.
Combine cream cheese, egg, 1/3 c sugar, and a pinch of salt in a small bowl. Add chocolate chips. Mix and set aside.
3.
Mix remaining ingredients in a large bowl.
4.
Line cupcake tins with paper cupcake holders. Divide half of the batter among the 12 cupcake holders. Drop a large spoonful of cheese mixture inside each cupcake holder. Divide remainder of batter among the cupcakes.
5.
Bake in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
