Stupendous Cinnamon Buns

These cinnamon buns are a family favorite! Since the dough is made in the bread machine, they don't take too much effort! I make them with whole wheat flour and gluten, of course, but if you will be using white flour, just reduce the milk to 1 cup and leave out the gluten.

Ingredients

cups warm almond milk

cup sugar

cups whole wheat flour

tbsp vital wheat gluten
2 1/2
tsp yeast
1
cup brown sugar, packed
2 1/2
tbsp cinnamon
1/4
cup oil
1/4
cup water
1 1/2-2
cups confectioners' sugar
Directions
1.
Add dough ingredients to bread machine bowl in the order that they are listed. Select Dough cycle; press Start.

Combine brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl and mix together.

When the dough is ready, roll it out to a 16x24 inch rectangle. Spread with 1/4 c. oil, and sprinkle evenly with cinnamon mixture.

Cut the dough in half, into 2 16x12 inch rectangles. Roll each rectangle the short way and cut into 12 rolls. Arrange rolls in 1 9x13 pan or 2 8x8 pans, allowing a little room in between each roll. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 350.

Bake rolls in preheated oven until golden brown, about 20-25 minutes.

When rolls have cooled, mix together confectioners' sugar and water to make a glaze. Add more confectioners' sugar if mixture is not thick enough to drizzle. Drizzle over cinnamon buns.
