My Mother's Meat Strudel & Mushroom Sauce

This recipe is good for Friday Night. My mom makes the dough, but I buy frozen pastry dough and use that. Up to you!

Ingredients

cups Flour

Box Margerine
1/2
cup Cold Seltzer

Pkg Ground Meat
1
tsp Salt, Pepper, Onion Powder, Garlic Powder, Paprika

Eggs
1
tbsp Sesame Seeds
1
Onion
1
Box Mushrooms (you can also use a can of mushrooms)
1
tbsp Flour
2
cups Cold Water
1
tsp Salt, Pepper
Directions
1.
Mix dough ingredients well.
2.
Mix meat, spices and 1 egg in a bowl.
3.
Roll out dough in rectangle, and spread filling on top. Roll the dough from one length. You may need to do two rolls if you have a lot of meat/dough so divide it.
4.
Egg the top of the rolls and sprinkle sesame seeds if you want.
5.
Bake on 350 degrees for about 20 minutes or until browned.
6.
Let cool.

For the sauce: sauté onion and mushrooms in a small pot.
8.
Add mushrooms soup mix and flour, mix. It will look thick.
9.
Add cold water and cook until thickens.
10.
Add salt and pepper.
11.
To serve: just slice and pour some sauce on top!
