Sesame Chicken

When your hankering for take out but you don’t feel like going out.

Ingredients
2/3
of a cup of orange juice
5
tbsp of soy sauce
6
tbsp of brown sugar
2
tsp of rice wine vinegar
4
boneless chicken breasts cut up in bite size pieces
1/2
tsp of salt
1
tsp of Chinese Five Spice
2/3
cup of cornstarch
Vegetable oil
1
tbsp of sesame oil
2
tbsp of sesame seeds
Zest of one orange
Directions
1.
In a small bowl stir together orange juice, soya sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, sesame oil, and orange zest. Set aside.
2.
I’m a medium bowl add cornstarch, Chinese Five Spice, and salt. Mix to combine. Add half of the chicken and toss to coat.
3.
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium high heat.
4.
Add half of the chicken to the hot pan and cook approximately 6 minutes until lightly browned and cooked through.
5.
Transfer chicken to paper towels, and cook the second batch.
6.
Discard oil, and return all the chicken to the pan over medium high heat, add sauce.
7.
Cook and stir until the sauce is thickened and chicken is coated approximately 1-2 minutes.
8.
Serve over white rice and roasted broccoli.
9.
Sprinkle sesame seeds on top for garnish.
