Beef And Bean Hot Pot

It doesn't look like much but it is an amazingly tasty and filling winter dish.

Ingredients
200
minced beef
1/2
beef stock cube
1
small onion, peeled and roughly chopped
225
potatoes, peeled and cut into large chunks
200
cans of baked beans

(4 oz) carrots, peeled and thickly sliced
worcestershire or tabasco sauce
Directions
1.
Heat a large pan and add the minced beef, frying until it is browned. Break up any lumps with a spoon.
2.
Crumble in the stock cube and then add the vegetables. Stir well and pour in about 500 ml boiling water (until the meat is just covered).
3.
Bring to the boil, reduce the heat, stir well and then cover the pot and simmer for about 30 minutes until everything is tender.
4.
Add the beans, a dash of the sauce and cook for 10 more minutes.
5.
Serve with thickly buttered bread to mop up the juices and enjoy!
