Really Easy Bolognese Sauce

We normally use pork mince in this but you can use any other type of mince you want. Beef is the traditional meat in this recipe.

Ingredients

garlic clove, finely chopped

onion, chopped
1
celery stick, chopped
1/2
carrot, peeled and grated
olive oil
250
pork mince
200
cans of chopped tomatoes
1
tbsp p tomato puree
ketchup
150
ml water
1/2
pork stock cube
200
pasta
Directions
1.
Fry the garlic, onion, celery and carrot in a little oil for 5 minutes. Add the mince and cook, stirring until browned.
2.
Add the tomatoes, tomato puree, a dollop of ketchup, the water and stock cube. Stir well and then simmer for 45 minutes.
3.
Whilst the bolognese is simmering, cook the pasta according to the packet instructions.
4.
When everything is cooked serve the pasta with the sauce on top and grated cheese sprinkled over the whole thing, and then dig in and enjoy!
