Veal Osso Buco

Ingredients
3
or 4 medium osso bucos
1
small onion
1
carrot
1
stalk celery
1
stick butter
1/2
cup white wine
3/4
cup chicken broth
1/2
tsp salt
some pepper
some flour
Directions
1.
Dredge the osso bucos in flour with salt and pepper
2.
Melt butter in a heavy skillet or dutch oven and brown meat on both sides for a few minutes
3.
Add chopped veggies and cook for 5 minutes stirring often
4.
Add white wine and let it cook more
5.
Add little salt, pepper and chicken broth and bring to a steady boil
6.
Once it starts boiling continue to cook covered on low/med heat for 1 1/2 hours or until done
7.
Check for the liquid often, if it is getting dry add a little water
8.
If skillet is oven proof place it in oven for at least 1 hr or more until meat comes out of bones
