Place 1/2 Cup or more pecans on a greased METAL pan (8x8)

Melt butter in heavy fry pan, add sugar and water and stir until melted.

Place over hottest fire available and stir constantly until mixture turns a golden brown. When the mixture starts to boil, it will look like buttermilk and have a terrible look, but keep stirring.

Pour over nuts carefully.

Place chocolate on top of candy and spread.

Sprinkle 1/2 Cup of Pecans over the chocolate.

Chill before breaking in pieces, and lift it from pan to get air underneath while it is still warm. Use a grapefruit knife to lift.

Recipe says to cook about 15 minutes but time depends on how hot a fire you have.
