Banana Pudding

Yet another Wilson family staple - I think it's the only non-chocolate dessert I've ever seen Aunt Barbara eat. All my friends love it and it truly is comfort in a big bowl. I like to think banana pudding is like having children - they get mushier and sweeter as they get older.

Prep
Cook
Serves 8people
Ingredients
1
can (14 oz) condensed milk
1 1/2
cups cold water
1-3.5
oz package of vanilla instant pudding
2
cup whipping cream (1 pt whipped)
36
vanilla wafers
3-4
bananas sliced and dipped in lemon juice
Directions
1.
In a large bowl, mix the milk and water and add the pudding - mix well. Chill for approximately 5 minutes to thicken. Fold in whipping cream.
2.
Put one cup mixture into serving bowl, then layer with bananas and cookies. Repeat the process, there should be approximately two layers.
3.
Pro tip: freeze a metal bowl and beaters before whipping the cream - makes it go much faster!
