Crockpot Teriyaki Chicken

chicken breasts

cup sugar
3/4
cup soy sauce

tbsp cider vinegar
3/4
tsp ground ginger
3/4
tsp minced garlic
1/4
tsp pepper
4 1/2
tsp cornstarch
4 1/2
tsp cold water
Directions
1.
Place chicken in crockpot.
2.
In a large bowl, combine the sugar, soy sauce, cider vinegar, ginger, garlic, and pepper.
3.
Pour over chicken.
4.
Cook on low for 4-5 hours.
5.
Skim fat from leftover liquid in crockpot.
6.
Place liquid in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
7.
Add cornstarch and water until sauce is thickened and smooth.
8.
Pour sauce over chicken and rice.
