Fairy Rolls

Ingredients

cups hot water
1
cup butter, softened
1/2
cup shortening
2
tbsp yeast
3/4
cup sugar
2
eggs
1
tsp baking powder
2
tsp salt
7
cups flour
Directions
1.
In a large mixing bowl pour hot water over butter and shortening.
2.
Cool to lukewarm.
3.
Add yeast, sugar, and eggs.
4.
Beat together.
5.
Add the rest of the ingredients.
6.
Let dough rise for 20-25 minutes.
7.
Divide dough into thirds and roll each into 1/4" thick circles on a floured surface.
8.
Cut each circle into about 12 triangles (like a pizza).
9.
Roll each triangle into a crescent shape by rolling from the wide end to the point.
10.
Preheat oven to 375.
11.
Place crescents on a greased baking sheet and let rise for 14 minutes.
12.
Bake for 15-20 minutes.
