Susan's Pumpkin Pie With Toffee Topping

If you love pumpkin pie, you’ll love this one. I won 1st prize in a contest at the boy's elementary school during Pioneer Days. It’s been a favorite in our house for a long time.

Ingredients
Store-bought 9” pie crust or your favorite pie crust recipe.

can (15 oz) pumpkin
2/3
cup light brown sugar
2/3
cup heavy crème
1/3
cup whole milk
2
eggs
1/4
cup sugar
1
tsp vanilla
1
tbsp pumpkin pie spice
1/4
tsp salt
Toffee chips. Skor or Heath chips
Directions
1.
Mix all ingredients (except Toffee chips) to mixing bowl,
2.
Adding eggs last
3.
Mix well in blender
4.
Pour into 9” pie crust
5.
Line cookie sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup
6.
Bake in Preheat 375 for 50-55 min.
7.
Once baked and looks set, remove from oven let cool for about 20 minutes Sprinkle with toffee toppings, (Skor or Heath Chips)
8.
Let cool completely
9.
We prefer it chilled. Enjoy. Makes 1 - 9” pie
