Home Made Whipping Cream

I always bought either the whipped cream in a can or Cool Whip. I decided to see what it takes to make REAL whipping cream! Easy Pease, and so much better! (And our daughter-in-law, Kristin, makes real whipping cream so I felt guilty buying it!)

Ingredients
2
cups heavy whipping cream (COLD).
1/2
cup powdered sugar.
1
tsp pure vanilla extract.
Directions
1.
Put a bowl and beaters in the refrigerator for 15 to 30 minutes to chill them.
2.
Add whipping cream, powdered sugar and vanilla extract to chilled mixing bowl.
3.
Beat the ingredients together, starting on a slow speed increasing to high slowly as it firms up.
4.
Beat for 60 to 90 seconds until stiff peaks form, stopping once half way through to scrape down the sides of the bowl.
5.
You use it for pies, use in a piping bag, whatever you like.
