Hot Apple Pie Bourbon Cocktail

This apple cocktail is a twist on hot buttered bourbon and uses cider and butterscotch sauce to make the perfect thanksgiving or fall cocktail.

Ingredients

cups apple cider
1
stick of cinnamon or 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon, plus more for stirring sticks
20
allspice berries or 1/4 tsp ground allspice
3
oz bourbon
1/4
cup butterscotch sauce
Directions
1.
In a medium sauce pan on medium-high heat, bring the cider just to a simmer. Shut off burner, add the cinnamon and allspice, cover and let steep for 15 minutes. Stir in the bourbon and the butterscotch sauce.
2.
Divide the drink into two glasses. Garnish each with a cinnamon stick.
