Black People Tuna Fish

Ingredients

can (7 oz) tuna
1
large egg, hard-boiled, finely chopped

tbsp miracle whip/ sandwich spread, add more as needed
1
tbsp sweet relish
1/2
chopped onion
1-2
tbsp finely chopped onion
Freshly ground black pepper and sugar, to taste
Directions
1.
Gather the ingredients.
2.
Drain tuna.
3.
Transfer tuna to a medium bowl and flake with a fork.
4.
Add egg to tuna, along with miracle whip and relish.
5.
Add chopped onion
6.
Taste and add sugar, salt and pepper, as needed, and more mayonnaise, if desired.
7.
oast or grill bread or rolls, if desired.
8.
Line bread or rolls with lettuce leaves and spread tuna salad on lettuce. Add a slice or two of thinly sliced tomato, if you want.
9.
Serve tuna sandwiches with sliced dill pickles and potato chips or French fries.
