Hungarian Butter Cookies

Ingredients
flour/ cake flour, butter, lard, salt, sugar, baking powder, sour cream, lime juice, eggs, jam, powdered sugar
Directions
1.
Mix: 4 cups sifted flour or cake flour, 1/2 lb butter, 1/4 lb lard, 1/2 t salt, 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 t baking powder, 1 c sour cream, 1/2 t lime juice, 4 egg yolks beaten.

Mix together dry ingredients

Work in butter and Lard as for pie crust dough

Add beaten Egg Yolks, sour cream, and lime juice.
5.
Separate into 4 parts

Wrap in wax paper put in fridge overnight
7.
Next day roll out on floured board and cut 3x3
8.
Fill with jam and sprinkle with powdered sugar or ground nuts (after baking)
9.
Bake 30 mins at 350 or until golden brown
