Gerry’S Modified Slow Cook Beef Bourguignon

Ingredients
4
– 6 slices of bacon
Beef Brisket cut or chuck roast
3-4
cups of red wine - Merlot or Pinot or a Red Blend
2
cups of beef broth
2
tbsp of tomato paste
2
large carrots sliced into pieces
1
large white one diced
4
red potatoes quartered
10
– 15 Pearled Onions
6
garlic cloves minced
Mushrooms – idk I don’t use them because I don’t like them :P

tbsp of Better than Bouillon Base Beef paste
2
bay leaves
Fresh thyme – use as much as you want I tend to get a fresh container and use the whole thing
Directions
1.
Sauté the bacon in a separate pan once crispy transfer to slow cooker
2.
Sear beef on all sides then place into slow cooker
3.
Mix all ingredients and leave the bay leaves and thyme at the top of the mix
4.
Cook on a low heat for 8 – 9 hours
5.
When complete, take meat out and cut and dump back into the mix
6.
Sautee mushrooms in butter and garlic then throw into the mix
7.
Stir and remove bay leaves and thyme steams
8.
Serve 😊
