Baked Beans

Great side dish for and BBQ main - e.g., ribs, chicken

Ingredients

cans (15 oz) +/-) Van Camp's pork and beans
1/2
yellow onion
1/2
green bell pepper
1
tbsp Worcestershire sauce (or soy sauce)
1/3-1/2
cups brown sugar
2
tbsp yellow mustard
3/4
cup ketchup
salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste
6-8
slices bacon (each slice cut in half crosswise)
Directions
1.
Combine all ingredients in a 9x13 baking dish. Sample and adjust seasonings to taste.
2.
Layer bacon slices on top - bacon slices should be slightly separated.
3.
Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
