Oyster Artichoke Soup

Ingredients

large artichokes
1
qt water
1
qt heavy cream
1
qt oyster water
1
tsp thyme
1
tsp basil
1/2
tsp salt
1/4
tsp each of black, white, red pepper
2
dozen fresh oysters
1/2
cup parsley
1/2
cup green onion
Directions
1.
Boil chokes and reserve water.
2.
Pour water in pot and add in oyster water and cream over medium heat.
3.
Add thyme, basil, salt, and peppers and cook for 30 minutes.
4.
Add cleaned choke meat.
5.
Add oysters, green onions, and parsley for a quick cook just before serving.
